It would be good to have mailbird automatically archiving emails older than X amount of months/days, 6months for example. That way people who are using a limited space exchange mail server (mine has 2GB limit) would not have to worry about their server being full every now and then and would have the emails saved/archived locally. Of course it would also be good to keep the folder structure, if there is any.
