Ability to sort email messages by sender, date (oldest/newest), read/unread status, and similar parameters, to present the desired messages at the top of the page.

Ability to sort email list on sender, email title as well as date. This would make finding mails much easier than having to enter a search multiple times, when I want to find different groups of emails, by sender.

I suggest that you also consider filters that are sorted by filters in unread emails
