Password protection
Set and require a lock-screen password be entered when opening Mailbird (potentially with a timeout feature).

Evangelos MergedI work with 50 people at the office.. Many people use mailbird but everybody is looking others mailbird.. It could be safer for many reasons if someone wants to have a code for his account... And of course for home...

Dim MergedOther email clients, such as Thunderbird, allow you to configure a master password to secure the email client. This has two purposes:
1. It prevents unauthorized access to emails if the user's computer is compromised
2. It encrypts the email credentials, preventing hackers from reading them in clear text
Typically, the user is asked for their password once when the user starts the email program, then the client stays "unlocked" until it is closed or manually locked.
