Better email sending error notification

Right now when an email fails it will put a notification icon on top left corner (image in attach). Unfortunately I don't think this is very helpful, that is also the place where "Mailbird News" show up etc. I rarely go to that button.

So it has happened email failing to send and I only discovering days later. What I would like is an option to allow the error to be shown front and center on the Client until I press either resend or dismiss etc. Opening Mailbird should show that error to allow the user to clearly know it failed and deal with it. A mail failing to send is not something that should be left in background notifications, this is an email client :)
